Qudra, meaning “Capability” in Arabic, was founded in 2020 to strengthen organized and strategic philanthropy within Arab society in Israel. It brings together Arab donors and community leaders and equips them with the tools, knowledge, and partnerships needed to increase the impact of their giving and contribute to long-term community resilience. While giving in Arab society has long been rooted in solidarity, responsibility, and mutual support, it has often taken place through informal and fragmented efforts. Qudra was established to build the professional infrastructure that enables donors to act more strategically, connect with one another, and engage more effectively with civil society and philanthropic institutions. Today, Qudra serves as a trusted platform that advances more coordinated, informed, and impactful giving across Arab society.
